A unique £750,000 customised Rolls-Royce has appeared for sale on Auto Trader.
Based on a 1995 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit MKIV, the Rolls-Royce driveable concept was built by Mumbai-based DC Designs and is christened the Black Ruby.
The result is a motor which looks more like a car from the future with its heavily tapered coupe body, massive chrome alloys, LED lights and chrome door mirrors.
The one-off Rolls - which was rumoured to belong to the Sultan of Brunei's family - is powered by a 360bhp 6.75-litre V12 engine, producing more than 550lb/ft of pulling power.
This means that the super-coupe should accelerate from 0-60mph in less than 7 seconds and on to a top speed of over 150mph.
And this is one of the only Rolls-Royces in the world to feature Lamborghini-style 'scissor doors'. In 2008, this one-off Rolls brought traffic to a standstill when it was spotted in London's West End.
Dilip Chhabria's DC Designs has sold almost 700 cars in the past 16 years, the majority of them to ultra-rich Indians. Buyers are reported to include the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and Slumdog Millionaire star Anil Kapoor.
This unique Rolls-Royce is advertised for sale by SparksCars.com of East Acton, west London, for £750,000. The sale includes a rather fetching 'CEXI' number plate.
