Smart is commemorating 10 years of UK sales with the introduction of the special edition Smart ForTwo GB10.

Just 100 examples - 50 petrol coupes, 10 petrol cabrios, 30 diesel coupes and 10 diesel cabrios - will be built, all of which are exempt from road tax thanks to their low CO2 emissions.

All will be finished in silver metallic paint with a red tick graphic along the side sills and safety cell. 15-inch Brabus alloy wheels and LED running lights complete the exterior changes.

Inside, heated red leather seats and door panels with 'GB10' stitching, a black Alcantara dashboard and a combined sat-nav and stereo, mark out the special edition.

The cost of joining in Smart's 10th birthday celebrations starts at £10,695.

More than 75,000 Smarts have been sold in the UK since the brand was officially launched on 4 September 2000.
