The SEAT Mii will complete a trio of new city cars including the Volkswagen up! and Skoda Citigo.
Sharing the same basic design, the SEAT Mii will be the sportiest and most youthful of the three when it goes on sale in Spring 2012.
It will be fitted with an all-new 1-litre petrol engine, with either 59 or 74bhp. It's not a lot of power, but then the Mii will weigh around 850kg - less than a Lotus Elise sports car.
Both models will be able to return more than 60mpg, while an Ecomotive version will emit 97g/km of CO2, making it road tax and London Congestion Charge exempt.
It will be available with two equipment packages called Chic and Sport, offering different trim, colour combinations and alloy wheels. The Chic version gets more chrome trim, while the Sport has tinted windows and a suspension set-up tuned for roadholding.
Like the up! and Citigo the Mii will be available with a portable device which mounts on the dashboard to give sat-nav, infotainment, Bluetooth connection and an on-board computer. In the Mii it will also offer an 'Eco-trainer' function, providing information on economical driving.
Safety features will include ABS, airbags and 'City Safety Assist', which can brake the car automatically at speeds below 18mph, to help avoid a collision.
