A special Monaco GP edition of the Renault Laguna Coupe is available to order now, with £5,200 worth of extra equipment.

Finished in unique pearlescent white with a contrasting black roof and 18-inch alloys, the Laguna Coupe Monaco GP is named after the most prestigious F1 race on the calendar, an event the company won in 2004 and 2006.

'Monaco GP' badges on the grille, rear wings and seats as well as dark grey leather upholstery and gloss white dashboard inserts are also exclusive.

However, despite the motorsport connection, the Monaco GP is only available with a diesel engine - the 2.0 dCi with 177bhp. Performance may be some way off Robert Kubica's Formula 1 car, but fuel economy is far better, with a combined figure of 43.5mpg.

The special edition features four-wheel steering, a BOSE sound system, electric and heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitor and satellite navigation.

Adding all the above to a standard Laguna Coupe GT would cost £5,200 more than the Monaco GP's £24,995 price tag.
