The Vauxhall Corsa will get a new look, improved interior and tweaks to its ride and handling. Redesigned by the same Brit responsible for the new Astra and Insignia, the Corsa will have attractive "Eagle-Eye" headlamps, daytime running lights, chrome grille bar with new Griffin badge and bright new paint colours, including yellow, green and orange.

There will also be lots of colour inside, with different hues for the door trims, centre console, air vents and door handles.

Vauxhall's Touch & Connect multi-media system will be available, with a five-inch touch-screen, 2D and 3D sat-nav maps, CD/radio, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.

New 16-inch alloy wheels feature on SE and SXi models, and the VXR hot hatch gets the option of new 18-inch alloy wheels.

The suspension has been re-tuned with tweaks across the range to improve ride and handling.

These changes complement recent changes to the engine line-up, when the 1.3CDTi ecoFLEX engine was made available with stop and start technology, giving it emissions of 94g/km of CO2 and an average of 78.5mpg.
