Official power and styling kits will soon be available for the Porsche Panamera, raising power by as much as 40bhp.
The release of the kits has been buoyed by the success of Porsche's first four-door sports saloon, with 23,000 being sold worldwide in 12 months.
From September Porsche Panamera Turbo customers will be able to specify a Powerkit, increasing engine output by 40bhp to 540bhp.
Costing £11,118, the upgrades include two new turbochargers and reprogramming of the ECU to improve not only power, but throttle response and drivability. Pulling power increases from 516 to 553lb/ft.
With Powerkit fitted the Panamera Turbo is one of the world's fastest four-door cars, hitting 62mph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 190mph.
A bodykit consisting of a unique body-coloured nose with black air intakes, side skirts and rear bumper diffuser called Sport Design Package will be available from October costing £2,516. It can be chosen at purchase from the Porsche Exclusive range, or for retro-fitting from Porsche Tequipment.
It will also be possible to buy 20-inch wheels separately, finished in silver, black or co-ordinated in body colour from £2,247 (£1,058 for Turbo models). The same wheels will be available in silver or black only for retro-fitting from Porsche Tequipment.
Customers with a PDK-equipped Panamera will be able to choose an optional three-spoke sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles for £277.
PTV will make the Panamera even more agile. Available with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) it uses braking on inner wheels while cornering to optimise steering and handling, while a rear differential improves traction when accelerating out of a bend.
