Life must be pretty peachy for Middle-Eastern petrolhead royalty. You wake up, count the millions you've made in the past forty seconds and then decide which car you can buy, which nobody on the planet will ever own.
And today's winner in the Arab hall of fame? This modified Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG tuned by ART. The royal family of Abu Dhabi will be taking delivery of this monster Merc – called the AS55K YAAS Edition – which has been fettled to produce more power than the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG.
Tuner ART has tuned the standard 5.4-litre V8 from 354bhp to a colossal 620bhp, along with fitting 380mm eight piston perforated brake discs up front and 345mm discs at the back to cope with the extra power.
The tuners' aero kit includes a carbon fibre bonnet, carbon-fibre side mirrors, door handles and the spare wheel cover, while interior surfaces including the steering wheel have carbon fibre detailing – completed to the royal family's requirements.
The standard G55 sprints to 62mph in just over seven seconds, so with its new power, we'd be very interested in seeing how fast this ART monster will go…
