The Nissan Juke will now feature revised versions of its 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre dCi engines as well as different gear ratios.
These changes improve both economy and efficiency, bringing down running costs a useful amount.
The petrol now returns 47.1mpg on the combined cycle, an improvement of 2.3mpg, while emissions have dropped by 8g/km of CO2 to 139g/km - resulting in a £15 reduction in road tax.
Drivers of the new 1.5 dCi see economy go up to 57.6mpg from 55.4mpg, while emissions drop to 129g/km of CO2 from 134g/km. This also drops it by one tax band, a saving of £20 annually.
More than 22,000 Jukes have been sold in the UK since its September 2010 launch.
