These are the first pictures of the all-new Nissan Juke, a car which Nissan says breathes life into the supermini market.
Nissan has added the Juke to an expanding crossover range, which includes the Qashqai and Murano, but unlike those models, Nissan says the Juke adds a heavy dose of sportiness.
At an exclusive preview, the Juke was revealed as an SUV-cum-coupe; a model that appears as though the top half of a Nissan GT-R has been added to a supermini-sized SUV, with impressive results.
The Juke goes on sale later this year, and will be available with three engines: a pair of 1.6-litre petrols and a 1.5-litre diesel.
Topping the range will be a 190bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, claimed to offer the punch of a 2.5-litre powerplant, with the economy of a smaller unit. This will be joined by a revised 117bhp low-power 1.6 petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel with 177lb ft of pulling power.
The 190bhp range-topper will be available with a CVT automatic gearbox, while the diesel will be offered with a six-speed manual only. The low-power petrol will be offered with a choice of either transmission. A four-wheel drive version will also be available.
We sat in a pre-production model and the interior materials are high-quality, while there's a decent amount of space up front. Room in the rear is more compromised, but the big boot with its removable floor can grow to over 500 litres.
No official prices have been announced, but a Nissan insider revealed it should cost between £13,000 and £20,000.
