It's happened again - someone has invested in a large amount of tin foil and modified a Nissan GT-R. The 480bhp supercar-slaying Japanese giant was first modified in a matt white vinyl wrap costing around £1,600 and the best part of two days.
But after feeling unfulfilled with the end result, the GT-R's UK owner decided to go the whole hog and wrap the £52,000 Porsche 911-baiter in chrome vinyl.
Apparently, the chrome wrap was a lot more complex and took considerably more time to finish, but we think you'll agree, the finish looks professional.
According to forum gtr.co.uk, the chromed Nissan also boasts a Milltek and HKS exhaust system along with HKS dump valves for the turbo system. The wheels are also painted in matt black.
Whether or not you like the fact that the car is covered in material only used by spacemen and footballers is another matter altogether, but one thing's for sure: it ain't the only one.
Just last week we reported on a near £200,000 Lamborghini Murcielago lurking the UK streets decked out in a chrome wrap, while footballer El Hadji Diouf was snapped in a chrome Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren supercar. Click on our gallery to check out chromed supercars.
