Bugattis and Bentleys might be the Goodwood Revival's staple diet, but this year's show saw the British debut for the Nissan 370Z Roadster.

It's the soft-top brother of the Nissan 370Z Coupe we tested earlier this year, but in the looks department, the Roadster has the tin-top licked.

Under the bonnet sits the lusty 331bhp, 3.7-litre V6 engine which turns the Zed from a boulevard cruiser into a hairy-chested sports machine - with the roof down, there'll be no mistaking the awesome soundtrack.

Like the Coupe, the 370Z will feature SynchroRev Match, which blips the throttle between gearshifts for smooth gearchanges. And Nissan has shunned the vogue for folding hard tops by fitting a fabric roof, which saves weight and space.

The 370Z Roadster was on Nissan's stand alongside some of its most iconic models, including the GT-R, the first ever Skyline and the Nissan 240Z, which is the original Z-car.

The Goodwood Revival offered its usual hospitality, with the majority of visitors in period dress, and a soundtrack from the assembled race cars that couldn't fail to delight.
