A Range Rover Sport previously owned by Newcastle United footballer Peter Lovenkrands is for sale on Auto Trader.

The star striker was the first owner of the 2005 Range Rover Sport, powered by a 390bhp 4.2-litre V8 supercharged engine.

Despite weighing in at a hefty 2572kg, the premium 4x4 accelerates from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 138mph.

The Range Rover Sport - which has done 20,000 miles - has 20-inch Stormer alloy wheels, upgraded Brembo brakes, touch-screen sat-nav, all-round parking sensors and electric heated front and rear seats. Extras include Bluetooth connectivity, privacy glass, centre console fridge and a tracking system.

The RangeRover Sport has proved incredibly popular with celebrities and tuning companies alike. David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, John Terry, Michael Owen, Joe Cole and Jamie Redknapp have all had Range Rovers in their garages - not forgetting WAGs Coleen Rooney, Alex Curran and Danielle Lloyd.

In the last two years alone, Steven Gerrard's Range Rover Sport, Overfinch and customised Overfinch all sold instantly after appearing for sale on Auto Trader.

Peter Lovenkrands' Range Rover Sport is advertised for sale by Whites Cars of Essex, for £27,990. The striker's name is documented in the log book and the car comes with a full service history, one year's MOT and three months' warranty.
