Auto Trader has grabbed some exclusive shots of the upcoming Ford C-Max compact MPV, six months ahead of its launch.
The car was officially revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show but details are still scarce. It borrows its looks from the Ford Iosis Max concept, which was powered by a 180bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, with emissions predicted to be as low as 125g/km.
However Ford has confirmed the new C-Max will include semi-automatic parallel parking and a blind-spot detection system, when it's launched in the autumn.
Our snapper spotted this silver Ford C-Max a short drive from Ford's headquarters in Essex. In the metal it looks like a bulkier Ford Fiesta, and from the side the roof-line is reminiscent of a coupe.
The C-Max also shares the same front and rear styling found in new Fords such as the new Ford Focus, which was announced earlier this week.
Our man also noted some impressive touches inside, such as a curvaceous dashboard, high-spec trim and black leather interior.
