New Bugatti Veyron renderings revealed

Thought the Bugatti Veyron lacked a bit of beef? Well think no more, because a new one is here. Sort of.

Canadian design graduate John Mark Vicente reckons the next Bugatti Veyron hypercar should look like this: the Bugatti 'Renaissance'.

Now in our eyes, the Veyron has never really been much of a looker, more of a 'look-at-that' kind of supercar. But Vicente's interpretation certainly ups the aggression count considerably.

The sharp, angular headlights replace the Bug's almost 'friendly' looking face, while the side and rear sprouts fins and vents which would shame a Max Power supermarket car-park meet.

No word on performance, but quite frankly that's a good thing. Only the very hardest horsepower warrior would dare cross the mighty Bugatti's engine with a view to modifying it.

The Veyron's 16-cylinder 8-litre engine develops 1,001bhp - minimum - and probably uses alien technology to transfer this enormous grunt onto the tarmac for an eye-popping 2.5 second 0-62mph time and a top speed of 253mph.

So it looks aggressive, goes like the clappers and will probably cost one squillion pounds. Only problem is it doesn't exist.

But that's part of the fun with rendered supercars. They recapture a little of that boyhood magic of sitting down with a box of crayons and sketching out your next rocket-powered moon-car.

Call us childish or adolescent, but we love stuff like this. So check out our gallery of the craziest rendered supercars, including a monster BMW…
