Land Rover has revealed details of two new Freelander 2 'Black and white' special editions, priced at £19,495 each.
This makes them the cheapest new Land Rovers available, at £1,800 less than the current Freelander TD4e S base model.
But you'll have to be quick if you want to buy one - only 500 will be made. Around 350 will be built in white and 150 in black.
The black and white Freelander 2s also come with all the spec and features in the current S range, including start-stop technology and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Both include an ebony cloth interior, keyless start, privacy glass and a load space cover as standard.
They're powered by a 158bhp 2.2-litre diesel engine which can achieve a fuel economy of 42.2mpg. This accelerates the Freelander from 0-60mph in 10.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 112mph.
The special editions will join the new Freelander 2 Sport, with its 19-inch diamond-tuned alloy wheels, two-tone interior and £26,695 starting price.
The new limited edition black and white Freelanders go on sale in January 2010 and are priced at £19,495.
