The Honda 3R-C electric mobility concept is designed to make urban travel that bit easier and quicker. Think of it as a latter-day Sinclair C5.
Safer and with greater weather protection than a scooter, the three-wheeled 3R-C's windscreen retracts to fully cover the single seat when parked. A lockable boot in front of the driver offers more secure storage than your average two-wheeler too.
There are no details of the electric motor that powers the 3-RC, except that it sits low in the chassis, keeping its centre of gravity as low as possible. It compact size could help ease congestion in city centres too.
As with so many of the more extreme Japanese concepts, there's no indication as to whether the 3R-C will ever be produced so we suggest that you don't give up walking just yet.
The 3R-C will be displayed alongside the new Honda CR-Z hybrid coupe at next week's Geneva motor show.
