Lotus will be showing off a special edition of its Elise sports car at the upcoming Frankfurt motor show. The Elise Club Racer will pay homage to the colour schemes of the classic Lotuses of the 1960s, offering a choice of Elite Yellow, Carbon Grey, Sky Blue and Old English White.
Inside, the car will also reflect the Club Racer name, with minimalist seats featuring comfort pads placed on a body-colour seat shell.
Other exclusive touches include details on the handbrake sleeve and gear-lever, a hand-stitched Club Racer logo on the seats and aluminium flooring in the driver and passenger footwells.
The Club Racer is based on the entry-level Elise S and will sprint to 60mph in the same 5.7 seconds as the normal car.
It will also cost the same £25,712 as the standard Elise S and goes on sale on September 15.
