There's plenty to do at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. With this in mind we've put together a handy Auto Trader top five so you can see the best bits of the event. Whether it's drivers, supercars or art - we'll steer you in the right direction.
F1 cars and stars
It's rare to see an F1 car in the wild, let alone several in the same place. Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren and Williams will be bringing cars along for all to see in the Formula One Paddock and to run up the hill climb. There will also be an opportunity to see historic cars from the turbocharged era and the aerodynamic era. If you want to see how F1 evolved with your own eyes, then the Formula One Paddock is the place to be. You can expect former world champions and current drivers like Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton to be behind the wheel, which is something you don't see every day…
The Skoda Forest Rally Stage
The Forest Rally Stage is the place to be if you want to see the current WRC and IRC cars show what they can really do in the metal. However, there won't only be current cars on display - rally cars from history will be flinging themselves along the route. Ever wanted to experience a Group B rally car blasting past at full pelt? The Forest Rally Stage is the place for you. This year the Skoda rally team's Andreas Mikkelsen will be there and showing off what he can do - it's something any rally fan must see. Ken Block will also be making an appearance - the American rally star famed for his Gymkhana Youtube videos.
The sculpture
Every year the Festival of Speed's centre piece is a massive sculpture, which highlights the year's theme and stands high in the grounds. This year's has yet to be revealed, but promises to be pretty amazing. It'll have to be to beat last year's effort from Alfa Romeo.
The Cartier 'Style et Luxe'
Open over the entire weekend, the 'Style et Luxe' is a concours event with a difference - it's open to all. It showcases some of the most beautiful, daring cars ever made and is accompanied by live Jazz. It's the perfect place for a picnic, too.
Supercar Paddock
Have you ever wanted to know what the inside of a McLaren F1 actually looks like? Well, at the Supercar Paddock you can find out. Visitors can get up close and personal with a huge array of supercars. If you like your supercars, you'll probably be spending a few happy hours wandering around the many, many cars on display.
