The Audi TT has been freshened-up with a restyled front bumper (which now incorporates larger air intakes), a bigger diffuser at the rear and slight changes to the lights.
The engine range has been trimmed to just three options, all turbocharged and mated with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The existing 158bhp 1.8-litre TFSI and 168bhp 2-litre TDI engines continue - with front- and four-wheel drive respectively, and up to 14 per cent improved fuel economy. The 2-litre diesel option continues to provide class-leading efficiency at 53.3mpg and 139g/km of CO2. The new addition is a 208bhp 2-litre TFSI petrol engine, which replaces both the 2- and 3.2-litre options.
Available with both front- and four-wheel drive, it is capable of sprinting from 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 152mph, whilst averaging 42.8mpg and scoring 154g/km of CO2. If you opt for the S tronic semi-automatic gearbox, it's half a second quicker.
At the top of the range, the high-performance TTS and TT RS models continue with their 2- and 2.5-litre engines respectively.
As to trim levels, the entry-level Roadster gets 17-inch seven-spoke alloys, sports seats, roll-over protection hoops, flat-bottomed sports steering wheel, aluminium interior detailing, on-board computer and a retractable rear spoiler as standard.
Roadster Sport models add leather upholstery, a concert audio system with auxiliary socket, and upgrade the alloys to 17-inch 10-spoke versions.
The TT Coupe and Roadster S models also get sports suspension, 'S' embossed sports seats, daytime running lights and 18-inch five-spoke design alloy wheels.
Exact prices are yet to be announced but the revised car is available to order now.
