Citroen has revealed that the first customer deliveries of its all-electric C-Zero will take place next month, with support from 11 of its existing dealers across the country.
Available only through a leasing scheme at £415 per month plus VAT (totalling £498), there's no option to buy a C-Zero. The contract runs for four years and will be restricted to 40,000 miles in total.
The dealerships will keep one C-Zero demonstrator in stock, which will be charged on-site through a specially installed charging bay. Those demonstrators will start arriving over the next week.
Each dealer will also have two specially trained sales people along with a pair of technicians who will be able to maintain the car.
Closely related to the Peugeot iOn and Mitsubishi i-MiEV, the C-Zero will also be up against the Nissan Leaf and Vauxhall Ampera.
The 11 specialist C-Zero dealerships are:
• Citroen City (London)
• Citroen London west
• Citroen Slough
• City Motors (Bristol)
• Perrys of Milton Keynes
• Citroen Birmingham
• Citroen Manchester
• Springfield of Gateshead
• Citroen Glasgow
• Citroen Edinburgh
• Donnelly Brothers of Dungannon
