The first official pictures of the 2CV-inspired Citroen DS Revolte concept have been leaked ahead of its Frankfurt debut next week. And we're not too sure if the hippies are going to like it - it's much more Shore-ditch than Swamp-y. It is unfeasibly cool.
From the suicide doors and huge alloy wheels to the space age interior, it's a far cry from the 2CV of the past, which was designed for the French working class, not Hoxton-based web designers.
This is down to the DS name being a premium badge Citroen is re-launching with the DS3 - another Frankfurt debut for the French carmaker.
One thing the Revolte concept does retain from its ancestor is the foldable canvas roof - similar to another comeback star, the Fiat 500C.
It's still a concept but we're hoping some form of the Revolte will see production in the future - possibly as a replacement for the Citroen C2.
Come back on Tuesday to find out the official details on the Revolte along with our pictures from Frankfurt.
