No you're not cracking up - and neither is the paint on this ultra-rare Ferrari 599. The car you see here is a one-off version of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano China Limited Edition, which has a special paint finish drawing inspiration from the Ge Kiln porcelain of the Song Dynasty.
Chinese artist, Lu Hao used a cracked glaze pattern which is "elegantly coloured, with clearly defined cracks etched at different depths."
The one-off model will be auctioned, with part of the proceeds going to help Chinese students in automotive engineering.
Ferrari will build "less than a dozen" 'standard' Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano China Limited Edition models, which have a special Rosso Fuoco red paint, with a grey roof and special etchings on the start button and rev counter.
