A souped-up Range Rover Sport previously owned by Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard is for sale on Auto Trader.

Gerrard was the first owner of the 2009 Range Rover Sport, which has been modified by Overfinch with the 4x4 getting an interior leather roofline and seats with red stitching representing Liverpool's club colours.

And to make it really stand out from the crowd of premium motors at the England training ground, the number 8 - Gerrard's Liverpool shirt number - has been stitched into the headrest.

The Sport is powered by a 3.6-litre V8 diesel engine, which has had the full Overfinch conversion to develop 328bhp and 582lb/ft of pulling power.

The extra 50 horsepower and 100lb/ft of torque means that Gerrard's bespoke 4x4 should shatter the standard Sport's 0-62mph time of 8.6 seconds and top speed of 124mph.

It boasts a massive specification and has done just 10,000 miles since new. The '09' plate Overfinch is the eighth car previously owned by Steven Gerrard to have been advertised on Auto Trader in less than four years, including:

When Gerrard bought this Range Rover Sport in 2009, it would have set back the Liverpool legend a cool £79,995. It is now advertised for sale by a private seller for just £62,500.
