BMW M3 Royal Edition
BMW has announced a special edition M3 Royal Edition to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in April.
Available in Regal Red, Bridal White or Imperial Blue, the M3 Royal Edition features a Windsor White Dakota leather interior. But, the feature getting collectors most excited is its 'Will' badging, in place of the famed 'M' motorsport emblem.
Regional sat-nav
SEAT UK has unveiled a remarkable new technology called SEAT Media Audio Recognition Technology (SMART), which uses GPS to adjust its spoken sat-nav instructions to the exact dialect of the area.
Using Automatic Regional Speech Equivalence software in East London the sat-nav will remark: "Awright geezer, it's straight on at these lights, innit?", while a Glasgow-bound driver might hear: "Aye, right… you've made it at last then, eh?"
Yaris owners get free fuel
Buy a Toyota Yaris in April and you'll be given a pre-paid fuel card worth more than £500; enough to cover around 5,000 miles in the 1.0 VVT-i petrol Yaris.
Kia hires pigeon fanciers
Kia has decided to partner with pigeon fanciers to create 'Feather Free Zones' near its dealerships to help solve the problem of bird droppings blighting paintwork.
A pigeon expert said: "When Kia approached me with this idea, I thought they were having a laugh. How can you tell a wild bird where to take its toilet breaks? But I've kept pigeons for over 40 years; I love birds and any scheme that helps people realise they're a pleasure not a mere pest, is worth getting involved with."
The AA start filling pot holes
The AA has decided to take action and start filling in the nation's pot holes. Its patrol vans are now fitted with a pipe and yellow pot hole filler which makes the road smooth and safe in seconds.
