Aston Martin has revealed a quicker, more driver-focused version of its entry-level sportscar, called the V8 Vantage S.
With its 4.7-litre V8 now capable of developing 430bhp and 361lb ft of pulling power, the V8 Vantage S is faster than before, but Aston Martin has yet to say just how much faster.
Designed to fit between the standard V8 Vantage and the V12 edition, the S is fitted with a seven-speed semi-automatic transmission, capable of ultra-fast gearshifts.
The new model also receives a revised steering rack that's more direct than before, along with stronger brakes and revised suspension.
The fitment of a Sport button enables the driver to sharpen throttle response and speed up the gear changes, while also creating a more aggressive exhaust note.
The exterior design gets an upgrade too, with redesigned bumpers, 19-inch spoked alloy wheels, air intakes up front and a new rear spoiler.
The new car will make its debut at the Geneva motor show on March 1, but you can buy one already. The coupe is priced at £102,500 while the Roadster is £110,700.
