It was only a matter of time before the tuners got their hands on the new Porsche Panamera. And now 9ff and Gemballa has released the first details of their modified Porker super-saloons.

9ff has boosted the Panamera's twin turbocharged 4.8-litre engine from 500bhp to 650bhp making it one of the world's most powerful four-door cars. The tuner has also given the Porsche a new bodykit which features a new front and rear bumper, four tailpipes and 22-inch alloy wheels.

There are no performance figures but the standard Turbo is capable of 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 188mph. With 30 per cent more power, the Pan-am should comfortably exceed 200mph.

Gemballa has been more secretive with its Panamera – the Mistrale. The tuner has release pictures of the modified motor which features a new front bumper with bigger air intakes. The company hasn't revealed any performance details but in the past it has increased the Cayenne Turbo's engine from 4.8-litres to 5, giving it a mesmerising 740bhp.

This power in a Panamera could challenge the 228mph G Power BMW M5's record as the world's fastest four-door car.

The standard Porsche Panamera goes on sale in the UK on September 12 with prices starting from £72,266 for the S and rising to £95,928 for the range-topping Turbo.
