What is a saved search?
A 'saved search' is like a shortcut to a set of search parameters that you can re-run as many times as you wish. Instead of manually entering the keywords and conditions to search every time, you save the set of search parameters by giving it a special name that you later reference.

How do I save a search?
To save a search for later use, first run a quick or advanced search selecting the parameters for the search. When you get the search results, click 'Save search'. On the next page, give your new saved search a name and click 'Save'.

Note that you must have cookies enabled on your mobile phone to save searches.

How do I access my saved searches?
The 'Garage' is your personal area where your saved searches, vehicles and dealers are stored. To get there, simply click the 'Garage' icon at the top of any page.

How do I run a previously-saved search?
Your ten most recently saved searches are available above the search parameters for quick access. However you can access and run all of your saved searches by clicking the 'Garage' icon at the top of any page.

How do I edit a saved search?
To edit a saved search, access your saved searches area in the Garage, locate the saved search and click the 'Edit' link beside the name of the saved search. Adjust the parameters as you need and click 'Save' to re-save the saved search.

Note that once you have saved a search, you cannot change the make or model. If you need to change the make or model, you will need to create a new saved search.

How do I delete a saved search?
To delete a saved search, access your saved searches area in the Garage, locate the saved search and click the delete icon ('X') to the right of the saved search name.

What is a saved vehicle?
A 'saved vehicle' is a shortcut to a particular used car/bike advert. If you are interested in purchasing the car/bike or you just find something about the advert interesting, you can keep the advert in your own list of shortcuts - similar to bookmarks in your web browser.

How do I save a vehicle?
To save a vehicle to your personal saved list, click the 'Save car' or 'Save bike' icon on the page which displays the details of the vehicle.

How do I access my saved vehicles?
The 'Garage' is your personal area where your saved searches, vehicles and dealers are stored. To get there, simply click the 'Garage' icon at the top of any page.

How do I delete a saved vehicle?
To remove an ad from your saved vehicles, access your saved vehicles area in the Garage, locate the ad and click the delete icon ('X') to the right of the vehicle details.

How do I write notes on a vehicle?
To write notes, go to the details page for the vehicle and click 'Add notes'.

If you write notes on a car/bike, that ad is automatically added to your saved vehicles list so you can access the notes.

How do I edit or delete notes?
If you wish to amend your notes on a particular vehicle, go to the details page for the car/bike and click 'Edit notes'. If you no longer need the notes, you can delete them by clicking the delete icon ('X') which is also on the vehicle details page.

Removing an ad from your saved vehicles also deletes any notes you have saved for that car/bike.

My saved searches or vehicles have disappeared.
Maintaining your Garage with your saved searches, vehicles and dealers is dependant on saving cookies in your phone's internet browser. If you have previously created saved searches, vehicles or dealers and can no longer access them, it is most likely that the cookies have been cleared from your phone. If you did not explicitly perform this function please contact your phone provider for assistance.

How do I call the seller?
When you are viewing the details page for a particular car/bike, you can call the seller directly by clicking on the seller's phone number displayed at the top and middle of the page.

Message: Unexpected System Error.
If you performed a search on any search page and received a page back displaying the message 'Unexpected System Error', it means that something happened that interrupted your search request. It is most likely something outside our control and we are unable to specifically identify the cause. Wait a short while then try your search again. If it continues to occur, please contact your phone provider for assistance.

Message: That mobile number is no longer accepting messages.
If you have tried to send an ad to a friend and received this message, it simply means that person does not want to receive our ads by sms any more.

Message: This service is limited to five messages per day.
To prevent abuse of our service, we limit the number of ads you can send to a friend to five-per-day. You will be able to send more tomorrow.

If you are wanting to send an ad to yourself, you can do this more effectively using the 'Saved Vehicles' feature.

Message: Service is currently unavailable.
If you are seeing this message, it means that the 'send-to-a-friend' feature is temporarily unavailable. Try again in a little while.
