Take one slippery road, a cloud full of sleet and snow, and its Rover and out - straight into a ditch. Driving in the winter can be treacherous, but certainly produces opportunities for photographers to capture the moment.
If you're prepared, driving on the white stuff can be fun - just ask the Top Gear boys, who drove a Toyota Hilux to the North Pole.
